Questo thread è dedicato a tutti gli appassionati del libro di J.R.R. Tolkien e del film di P. Jackson. Il "Signore degli Anelli", interpretato superficialmente come storia fantastica, in realtà è un mondo complesso, sapientemente costruito dalla mente di uomo di eccezionale cultura, un universo parallelo nel quale possono trovare rifugio tutti i conservatori romantici. Coraggio, valore, altruismo, ma anche bramosia di potere, odio, tradimento e schizofrenia: bene e male che si combattono, fino al trionfo della giustizia, ma a costo di ferite che non si possono più rimarginare. E dunque, ascoltiamo la superba colonna sonora del film pluripremiato, caliamoci nell'atmosfera di una storia esemplare, deliziamo i nostri occhi con delle immagini di superlativa fattura.

LOS ANGELES - La notizia tanto attesa dai fan della "Terra di Mezzo" è finalmente arrivata: "Lo Hobbit" si farà.

Lunga attesa - Dopo quasi dieci anni di rinvii, vertenze e problemi finanziari, è arrivato il tanto sospirato accordo tra New Line, Warner Bros e Metro-Goldwin-Mayer. Il primo dei due film (che saranno in 3D) ispirati al romanzo di J.R.R. Tolkien uscirà nel dicembre del 2012, mentre la seconda parte dovrebbe essere nelle sale un anno dopo.

Protagonisti - La regia sarà affidata al neozelandese Peter Jackson, mentre la parte del protagonista Bilbo Beggins, sarà interpretata dall'attore inglese Martin Freeman. Rispetto alla trilogia del "Signore degli Anelli", saranno molte le riconferme: Ian McKellen sarà ancora Gandalf, Andy Serkis tornerà a vestire i panni di Smeagol-Gollum e Cate Blanchett l'elfo Galandriel. La vera sorpresa però, sono le riconferme di Elijah Wood nel ruolo di Frodo Baggins e Orlando Bloom in quello di Legolas.

I costi - I due film dovrebbero costare 550 milioni di dollari, ma se il successo dovesse essere pari a quello del "Signore degli Anelli" (che incasso circa 2 miliardi di dollari), sarebbero dei soldi spesi davvero bene...
